Hi! I'm Anmarie, and I'm thrilled to have found this group! I've been drooling over the Trikke website for quite awhile, and have been trying to figure out a way I can "try before I buy". I'm looking forward to meeting you all!
I have no experience with Trikkes, but I'm very much looking forward to trying one out, and talking with others who use them.
I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan currently, but previously I lived and worked in the Kzoo/Portage area for 7 years.
no
I first heard of Trikkes through the infomercial and was intrigued. I've been to the website numerous times and have watched most of the videos, but I've never seen one in pers on.
mostly on accident. I stumbled across a meetup website for another group, then decided to see if there were other meetup groups I might be interested in. I couldn't believe it when I found this one!
My first experience with the group was a great one. Bruce and Joe made me feel welcome, even as a newbie, and they had some helpful tips for getting the hang of carving. Now I'm looking for my own Trikke so that I can participate in more Michigan Carver events.

Hi Anmarie,
That message should actually say something like "temporarily out of stock" - I do not know for sure on the timing, but likely another batch of the T78cs vehicles will be available in September.. In the meantime, there are some other places you can look like you said, or if you wanted to conside the T78Deluxe (provided you like the green color)... Also, the newer T67cs now supports 8.5" air tires too, so that can be upgraded to a front air tire or all air tires..
Hi Anmarie.
Welcome to Michigan Carvers! - Glad to have you as part of the group, and look forward to meeting you Saturday. - Happy to demo a couple models for you and get you on and riding to get a feel for one... Have any thoughts on what model you might be "leaning" towards? ;)
Cool how you happened to come upon this meetup group :)
Have a good week and see you Saturday. Let me know if I can help answer any questions in the meantime.
Thanks
Bruce
