Any chance of doing a meetup this winter for any interested in giving the SKKI a try at one of the southern most resorts you have accepting them? - If you have any events going on where we could rent some SKKIs from you and join in, be sure to post it (or since I made you an event organizer, you could even post it as a new meetup if you wanted)

Sorry you did not get a chance to do any riding on the trail - I was thinking of going West from the park first - up the hills - possibly checking out the Bay Harbor area if we are allowed down in there, and then coming back downhill, passing by the park and heading east and around the bay as far as we feel like going, grabbing some lunch somewhere if you have time, and heading and back.. I am open to whatever you would like to do though!... See you at 10am on Sept 4th. Carve On!

What about starting there at 10am on Sat Sept 4th? - With our cars in the middle of the trail, it gives us more options for how far we want to go without ever having to go as far to get back to the cars... On the discussion Tab - under the Trails forum, I have a link to a GPS map where I did start at that park on Jul 11th, and rode almost to the Church and back

Hi Egan, would that be at the Charlevoix Church of the Nazerene - 12023 Waller Rd, Charlevoix, MI 49720 ? That would be fine with me! I am also ok with starting at Bayfront park in Petosky near the middle, especially if someone else wanted to join and only wanted to do a portion of the trail with us - or if I post it, we could start in Charlevoix, but some others could meet us in petosky at about 11:30am to carve some with us or something... Did you plan on doing the full trail and back?

Saturday 9/4/10 is good for me for carving the little traverse wheelway... Any time in mind? I can likely come up and stay Friday night with my Aunt who lives at Torch lake, so we could shoot for a morning start if you wanted. Sounds fun!

- Did Bryan contact you about being up in Traverse City next week with his Family? He was hoping to do a bit of carving with you while there, though he knows you are busy, and he will be pretty busy too..

When are you planning on doing that Little Traverse Wheelway this year? Or have you already done it? I know you said you try to get up there to do that at least once a year. Let me know if you might want any company when you plan it... I would not mind doing the whole trail, or at least the section up around to Harbor Springs I did not do, though it looks like the most scenic parts would be south of the bay? - the trail and hwy 31 pull away from the bay up around to harbor springs?

Egan! You are very welcome! We had a great time in Traverse City carving with you and all the other Trikkers. Thanks again for all your work in getting us into the parade. It is not what you know it is who you know. Just remember that the you will probably have to move your brake levers farther in to allow the grips
to mount and lock in place.
